STUDENT TALENT WORKSHOPS

The Episcopal Theological College of Pécs places great emphasis on nurturing the talents of outstanding students.

On the one hand, this is done through self-organized workshops, such as the PPHF Orchestra or the Poetry Competition.

On the other hand, the Scientific Student Conference is the forum where students can showcase their talents and develop their work with the help of their supervisors. In this context, special mention should be made of the final, institutional round of the TDK, where the number of participating students is consistently over ten. A jury of peers selects the individuals who may apply to the next round of the Conference.

In the 2023-2024 academic year, three of our students participated in the OTDK (National Scientific Student Conference) in Debrecen, where one of our students came in second. It should be mentioned that the PPHF Project Day System is a great springboard for student success. Every six months our students present their year theses over the course of a project day. which are then elaborated on to become a topic for the TDKand often further developed to become successful senior theses.
