Library Rules and Regulations
- When entering the Library, visitors are kindly requested to check in at the reader service desk;
- before using the library, coats and bags must be placed in the designated areas; the Library is not responsible for these items;
- please keep all mobile devices muted during the entire time of your visit to the Library;
- please refrain from any communication that may disturb fellow patrons.
Enrolment prerequisites
- The Library figures on the list of public libraries and its services are available to anyone who complies with the rules for its use.
- A student card and/or ID card are required for enrolment.
- Persons under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult or have special permission to enter the Library.
- Enrolment is for one academic year and library membership must be renewed every academic year.
- Enrolment always happens in person. Readers must notify the library of any changes to their personal data. The Library is obliged to protect your personal data in accordance with the Data Protection Act.
- When registering, the reader acquaints himself/herself with the Library’s Rules and Regulations, acknowledges his/her acceptance of the rules, and agrees to protect the library’s assets and to use all services as intended.
- The library stores patron data on a computer or in the library catalogue and may only use it to identify the patron.
- Graduating students must return all borrowed materials and settle all late fees by the date of graduation.

You may enroll in the library if you are:
- a citizen of PPHF;
- a citizen of PTE (University of Pécs);
- an employee of the Diocese;
- Enrolment is free of charge for students of PPHF, students of PTE and employees of the Diocese.
Services
The following basic services are free of charge for all visitors:
- Library visits;
- Public access to the library;
- Use of the library’s catalogues;
- Requesting information about the Library and its available services.
We offer the following services to our registered patrons free of charge:

Borrowing and/or on-site use of library documents;

Requesting information;

Computer use (for PPHF citizens).
Rights and obligations of registered patrons
- Enrolment entitles the patron to use the library’s collections and services;
- the patron must declare any changes in his/her personal data (name, address, identity card number, etc.) during the academic year;
- borrowed documents may not be transferred to other individuls;
- patrons are responsible for all documents borrowed and service fees;
- inscribing, underlining and defacing of documents in the library’s collection is strictly forbidden;
- it is the responsibility of all patrons to protect the integrity of the Library’s documents, accessories, and furnishings. In the event of damage caused intentionally or through negligence, the patron shall be held liable for financial losses;
- patrons may use the Library’s collections only in compliance with copyright law. and will be held liable in the event of infringement;
- the use of any private equipment (camera, video recorder, etc.) for the reproduction of documents is subject to authorisation;
- Coats, umbrellas, handbags, sports bags and luggage must be kept in the available lockers (the Library will not be held responsible for loss of these items);
- no food ordrinks are allowed on the Library premises.
